The original Spring Branch settlers arrived in 1830. They were hard working farmers, rugged individualists and embraced traditional American values. Modern Spring Branch and the surrounding areas, represent a broad cross section of Houston, but the traditional American values remain.  The greater Spring Branch area is quietly becoming a leading engine of Houston’s renewal.
